Google Sign-In & Committee Access
SEAGO allows authorized committee members and other invited participants to use their Google accounts to access certain SEAGO Microsoft 365 and SharePoint resources.
When you choose Google sign-in, Google may provide Microsoft Entra and SEAGO with basic account information needed to authenticate you, such as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your Google account identifier
- Basic profile information made available by Google
SEAGO uses this information only to confirm your identity, create and maintain your authorized guest account, provide access to appropriate resources, maintain security records, and remove or modify access when your SEAGO role changes or ends.
This connection does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or Google password.
Authentication is handled by Google and Microsoft. SEAGO does not receive or store your Google password. Microsoft Entra may maintain a guest-user record and sign-in or access logs associated with your account. Documents, comments, and edits submitted within SharePoint may be retained as part of SEAGO’s organizational records.
SEAGO’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
